About the journal
Historic Environment is the refereed journal of the organisation, and has an ERA ‘A’ rating. It brings together dynamic, critical interdisciplinary research in the field of cultural heritage and heritage conservation. All articles submitted to Historic Environment are peer-reviewed. The journal publishes two-three issues per year, with many following a specific theme.
For those wishing to submit an article, please contact the HE Editorial Committee in the first instance. It is important that prospective authors are familiar with the HE Guidelines for contributors and Harvard Guide For HE Authors. Authors whose article is accepted must sign the HE Author Agreement.
