SPECIAL NOTICE: 16th General Assembly, Quebec, Canada - Early Bird Registration Closes Very Soon
 
Australia ICOMOS members are reminded that the special discount for early bird registration for the forthcoming General Assembly in Quebec closes on July 15.   You can register on-line at http://www.hospitalite.com/Clients/icomos/en/03_tarifs.htm .  You should include your accommodation when you register but this can be done later.  Much of the accommodation is now fully booked.  You should also nominate which tour you want to take on Friday, 3 October.  The cost of the tour is included in registration.  There are three (simultaneous) post-conference tours and these can also be booked when you register.
 
Anyone who does register is asked to contact Timothy Hubbard at timothy@heritagematters.com.au, the Executive Committee member who is coordinating the Australia ICOMOS contingent.  He may be able to help with accommodation and other special registration enquiries.   There will be a special Aussie get-together, similar to the very successful event in Xi'an at the last GA, on Tuesday, 30 September after the Official Welcome Reception.  We also need to coordinate memberships of International Scientific Committees, attendance at ISC meetings on Monday, 29 September and voting arrangements for Saturday, 4 October.
 
Anyone who has been accepted for giving a paper or poster presentation is reminded that the deadline for submission is also July 15. You must submit the written full-length version of your paper and upload your last version in a WORD format on the conference server at http://hospqbc.forest.net/convPages/conv_77.lasso.
