Lucy Irwin is a Sydney-based heritage professional who has been involved in the heritage industry for over four years, providing technical advice on heritage management and facilitating positive collaboration among project stakeholders. Her current professional role includes interpretation development, historical research and documentation, large-scale constraints and opportunities analysis and preparation of heritage management advice, including conservation management plans and heritage studies. 

Lucy has a Bachelor of Arts majoring in Ancient History and is a Full International Member of ICOMOS (Young and Emerging Professional). In 2015, Lucy undertook an internship program at the Australian History Museum at Macquarie University, for which she received the Professor Judyth Sachs PACE Prize for the Faculty of Arts. Lucy is also a member and supporter of the Professional Historians Association (PHA) NSW chapter.

Lucy is particularly passionate about community consultation and the design and planning of heritage interpretation, and has a keen interest in the development of frameworks to help provide accessible interpretation.
