Katrina is an architect and heritage consultant with eight years’ of experience working in the built heritage sector. She currently works at Philip Leeson Architects based in Canberra and has worked for other small architectural conservation practices in Melbourne and Newcastle. During this time, Katrina has gained experience in a diverse range of tasks ranging from the preparation of conservation management plans and municipal heritage studies to the detailed assessment of historic fabric and implementation of sensitive repair works.

Working with clients from both the public and private sectors, Katrina promotes the use of traditional trades and sensitive repair methodologies for historic fabric. She believes that rigorous research, high quality design and collaboration are all essential for achieving positive heritage outcomes.
