Mary has over 25 years of experience both in private practice and in government and has extensive proficiency as a Heritage Architect. She is able to review and reposition the priorities for heritage conservation and develop innovative approaches that have best practice philosophy as their core. Mary is able to take projects from concept design through to more detailed documentation and construction, achieving enhanced heritage outcomes. Mary is a registered Architect and has completed a Masters in Philosophy (Urban History) and a Masters in Museum Studies (Sydney University) combining her extensive knowledge of conservation for sites and structures with heritage urban design and heritage interpretation.
Mary is a registered architect in NSW. Having worked in the NSW Government Architect’s Office for nearly 10 years, Mary is currently employed as a Senior Consultant with Urbis Heritage. Mary has also been involved in heritage workshops in Malaysia and Taiwan with AusHeritage.
